Russell Kirk regarded Benjamin Disraeli as one of the most important figures in the Anglo-American conservative tradition, yet few American conservatives today know his legacy well. Join visiting scholar Dr. Daniel Pitt, who joins us from Britain — an honorary research fellow at the University of Buckingham, a member of the Centre for British Politics at the University of Hull, and a former graduate student of Sir Roger Scruton — as he explores Disraeli’s life and thought, and how the Industrial Revolution shaped his political imagination.
