Meet Your Instructor:
Zachary Good is the Director of Education at the St. John Henry Newman Institute. In addition to his work at SJHNI, he has more than 15 years of experience teaching, training, and mentoring teachers in Catholic schools. As the first Dean of Faculty & Curriculum at Sacred Heart Academy, he shaped the philosophy, faculty culture, and curriculum that helped transform a parochial elementary school into a thriving K–12 classical academy.

Lecture Description:
The work of Marshall McLuhan, the Canadian philosopher who pioneered the study of media theory, contains unparalleled insight into the nature of technology and its ability to alter our habits and perceptions. Join us in the Russell Kirk Library as we are introduced to this great twentieth-century thinker and consider how our tools form our minds and our culture. The conversation will be led by Zach Good, an educator and speaker who currently serves as the Director of Formation for the St. John Henry Newman Institute. In addition to his work at SJHNI, he has more than 15 years of experience teaching, training, and mentoring teachers in Catholic schools.
