Annette Kirk spoke on March 3 on “First Principles of Leadership” for the Leadership Academy of the Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids. The assigned readings for students were (1) Annette Kirk’s lecture, “Life with Russell Kirk” as well as two readings from Dr. Kirk: (2) “May the Rising Generation Redeem the Time” and (3) “Can Virtue Be Taught?”
